Hi I’m Gina! It’s nice to meet you.
I’m Gina, the owner/operator of She Fixes LLC. I am fun, witty, and have a fantastic sense of humor, so be prepared for laughs and smiles around me! I am a Salt Lake City native but spent a few years out East as a young child. I started at NeighborWorks in Salt Lake when I was 15, building homes and installing sprinkler systems and flooring. This program taught me so many valuable skills, but it also helped me learn more about myself and my capabilities. NeighborWorks planted the love of DIY in me, which led to many DIY projects in my own home and for my mom and grandparents.
I spent three years at a local HVAC company, where I obtained all my certifications and gained valuable knowledge of home repairs thanks to my talented coworkers and the clients who invited us into their homes. While working, I noticed some clients needed help to keep up with basic home maintenance. For example, many elderly clients could not change smoke detector batteries, light bulbs, or furnace filters in the basement, leading to high repair costs and dangerous conditions in the home.
My inspiration for starting She Fixes, LLC came from requests from family and friends to help them with projects around their homes. The main goal of She Fixes, LLC is to provide excellent service and a safe environment for everyone, one home at a time. There is a need for handy-person services for people who might not be comfortable with traditional service companies, including clients who are women, single, or part of the LGBTQ community. My commitment to ensuring everyone who hires me feels safe and comfortable is paramount and the driving force of my business. I’m passionate about helping people, especially those who are the most vulnerable and need someone they can rely on to consistently provide them with honest service, affordability, and compassion.
